Policy
1. Weather and Cancellations In certain circumstances, such as unsafe weather conditions, the captain may decide to cancel or reschedule the trip. In this case, you will receive a credit for your deposit, which can be used to book a charter at any available time. If the charter is canceled due to weather, you will not receive a refund, but the credit can be applied to future bookings. The captain may decide to call off the trip either the night before or the morning of the charter, based on current conditions and safety considerations.
2. Deposit A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. The deposit is non-refundable for any reason, including cancellations or changes to the booking made by the customer.
3. Release of Liability and Rules Acknowledgment Before boarding the boat, all passengers must read and sign the fishing charter rules and a release of liability form. These forms will be provided to you upon entering the boat. By signing these forms, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the rules and accept the risks associated with the fishing charter.
4. Full Payment Full payment for the charter is required before boarding the vessel. No passengers will be allowed on board without full payment.
5. Customer Complaints If you have any concerns or complaints during your charter, you are encouraged to file them with the captain. The captain will review and address the issue accordingly. We highly value feedback from our guests to help improve our services.
6. Insurance We carry full coverage insurance for the boat and passengers. In the event of an injury or incident, please notify the captain immediately to initiate the appropriate response and documentation for an insurance claim.
7. Age Restrictions No one under the age of 18 is allowed on the boat without being accompanied by a parent or guardian. It is the responsibility of the booker to ensure that all passengers meet this requirement.
8. Property Damage You will be responsible for any damage done to Flyin Tide Charters' equipment due to neglect. If you choose to bring your own fishing equipment, we are not responsible for any damage to it.
9. Departure and Late Arrivals Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign paperwork and participate in a short safety briefing. If you arrive late, it will cut into your charter time, and we cannot extend the trip beyond the scheduled end time.
10. Compliance with NC Fishing Regulations We follow all North Carolina fishing regulations.
11. Lost or Stolen Items We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items brought onto the boat.
